This wedding Oozed sentiment, personality and trust….trust in me to capture all the laughter and atmosphere of Sarah + Andrews special day. “Put Cameras, Iphones and Ipads down” they said, “be present and witness the commitment we are making to each other…our photographer has it covered” and a little dance I did…it was my first unplugged ceremony and what a joy it was to photograph guests without ipads infront of their faces but instead laughter and joy as they witnessed and embraced this happy couple share their love and commitment.
The day started at the quirky but charming Silver Street Studios in Fremantle, Sarahs friend Wendy did a beautiful job of delicately placing the gorgeous flowers supplied from one of my favourite and local Florists Limes of East Fremantle the bouquets were a perfect blend of nature and I was greeted by Emma from Milla Makeup who always does a beautiful job. The ceremony was held at Fremantle’s historical Roundhouse and guests had the company of Sarah and Andrews celebrant and Bestman Jason, as their other dear friend Sam played acoustic tunes to enjoy . Bravo to Brava who delivered their rings in true h
ound dog style which followed the Readings from Anne Morrow Lindbergh’s “Gift From the Sea” .
Keeping things relaxed we walked around Fremantle for some photos and and returned to Little Creatures where everyone hit the dance floor and enjoyed some tunes from their DJ Mark Egan
Guests had a ball choosing their own wine tags to keep as a momento from the night and Little Creatures provided the perfect invitation for them to personalise the area to suit.
I walked back to my car that night with a giant smile on my face and thought what a celebration!
Thank you Sarah + Andrew for the courtesy you showed towards what I love to do and for savouring every moment!
